IT Cleaning Ltd undertakes the cleaning of various types of computer rooms from ISO Class 2 Clean rooms to general rooms used as server rooms. We are able to clean these to an agreed specification and a high level of quality. The rooms unless otherwise required are cleaned live to reduce the interruption to your business. The frequency of cleaning these rooms will depend on many factors including the protocols you have in place to combat the ingress of dust. All of these can be discussed during our initial meeting.

During our cleaning we are able carry out detailed inspections of the void areas to look for and report on potential problem areas, such as deteriorating sealing, evidence of mice or rats, past or present water leaks, loose floor support legs and damaged cables and connectors. 	Controlling Static Electricity Many materials are bad conductors of electricity - i.e. charge does not move easily over or through the material. To enable materials to dissipate static quickly (=< 10-8 Ohms) they need to have additives included in their manufacture or have surface treatment.

IT Cleaning Ltd will monitor static electricity within your facility using calibrated electrostatic instrumentation. We will survey before and after the results will be logged and presented in our site report after each service. We will agree sampling methodology and failure rates prior to commencement.

The survey report will show the location of the sample and the reading in easy to follow format.
IT Cleaning Ltd will survey your computer room floor if we find that it requires an anti static polymer like statguard we will recommend it and cost it for you.

Server, Communication and other types of rooms
Prior to pricing a survey and discussion of the items to be cleaned must be performed. Example will the under floor and ceiling void be cleaned, will we be entering the cabinets and so on.
The price per clean will again depend upon the number of cleans per year the room is to receive.

The main contaminate for computer rooms: Particulate (Dust) the source of this dust can be numerous. The type of dust present can have differing effects. For example:

Carbon: from car exhausts and printer toner is brought in on feet, clothing and as airborne particles. Carbon can cause shorts as it is conductive, so is particularly troublesome in Server/Computer Rooms.

Organic Particulate: from people and the environment also finds it way into the computer room. This dust is the main cause of air ingress being restricted and causing equipment to overheat.

As stated this dust is transported into your critical environment from many source to completely stop this would be expensive and may be impossible.

These mats are not sticky, they are big enough for a person to take 3 or 4 steps on and do not require any peeling. They are also fixed to the floor and edged.

	Metallic Fibre: Zinc is a good example, this can form in the Underfloor pressurised plenum and is transported by the air flow through your equipment. Zinc is very conductive so causes shorting, these fibres or Zink Whiskers as they are know are very small being less than 0.5 micron in width.
